Abandoned dog found tied to chain link fence in Euclid

Euclid Police are looking for the owner of a dog who was abandoned and tied to a chain link fence in the Euclid Creek Greenway.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, on Sept. 24 around 4 p.m. a citizen noticed a dog in distress that had been tied to a chain link fence in the Euclid Creek Greenway, the section of the park south of Euclid Avenue.

Euclid Police and the Euclid Fire departments worked together to provide the distressed dog some water and food.

Anyone who thinks they know who the owner of the abandoned dog could be is asked to call Euclid Police at 216-731-1234 to report.
